Kids Korner – At Home at Northern Michigan Speedway

DeLayna watching races at Northern Michigan Speedway

On June 17th I went to Northern Michigan Speedway to the Jack Sevenski memorial race.

Jack was the owner/operator of Northern Michigan Speedway.

This is a ¼ mile pavement track. I am estimating the track is located about 14 miles west of my house in Gaylord, Mi.

My dad used to race the Street Stock #3D at this track YEARS ago. He tells me he was an ok racer.

My mom used to interview racers for the Marc Times Racing News at this track along with all the other tracks she went to.

They had some good side by side races in all the divisions.

I met some very nice race fans from Allendale, MI; Angela, Tim, Jordyn, Anna, and Jacob DeHaan.

After the races I got to meet the flagman, Tyler Noweski, What a nice guy!

Flagman Tyler Noweski gives the halfway signal.

I also met Don Sevenski who is now the track owner, he is so very nice.

Ron Grubaugh is the track promoter.

I plan on going back to watch again sometime this year.

I will see you at the races!
