Kids Korner – Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame

On November 7th I got to go to the Michigan Motorsports Hall of fun….Oops! I mean Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

I was able to help my Mom, Allan and Nancy Brown greet people and take tickets. Allan and Nancy are some of the nicest people I have ever met in my life.

Being a greeter I got to meet some awesome people like Doug Shepherd (Rally racer), Brett Mann (Sprint Car racer), Scott Diehl (Former Car Chief for Joe Gibbs Racing), Dan VanKoevering (Former Hall of Fame President), John Boy Hotchkiss (Inductee and Hall of Fame board member), and Joe Doerer (Inductee) just to name a few of them.

I was so excited I got to sit at a table with my parents, Ron Flinn (Crystal Motor Speedway owner and best hugger EVER), Ryan Flinn and near Brett Mann.

I enjoyed listening to the speeches because I got to learn more about the inductees and how they got into racing.
