Even though the temperatures are beginning to cool off, the racing scene in Michigan is definitely heating up.
Throughout the state there are several late-season specials on tap over the next few weekends, and although it’s nearly September already there is still plenty of time to check out a few races at places like Merritt Speedway in Merritt, Michigan before the book closes on the 2019 racing season. It was a definitely a Dream weekend at Eldora Speedway on June 8th-10th with the 23rd running of the $100,000 to win annual event.

Sunshine, blue skies, and 80º is the epitome of a wonderful summer day, but when that day comes in April and you find yourself at one of Michigan’s premier race tracks…its pure perfection.
On April 15th Crystal Motor Speedway opened the doors on the 2017 racing season and not only was the weather incredible, the racing action was nothing short of impressive.
With temperatures ping-ponging all over the board, the Michigan tracks that have opened their doors for the 2016 have definitely had to deal with a multitude of struggles, but there is certainly no doubt that Crystal Motor Speedway had an absolutely beautiful weekend for their season opener back on April 16th. 2015 was a year filled with change and excitement for my family and me. On Easter Sunday (April 5th) my husband and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world.
